Cabrillo National Monument

Located in San Diego, California on the Point Loma peninsula, the 160-acre park offers a broad spectrum of research opportunities. The park is named after Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo, leader of the first European expedition to the west coast of the United States in 1542. Cabrillo landed on Point Loma’s eastern shore.

The National Park Service looks forward to working with researchers through the CMRLC, and anticipates exploring novel opportunities and facilitating future studies in Cabrillo National Monument. Please contact Cabrillo National Monument for more information.
